Proverbs 24:16 (KJV) For a just or Righteous man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

A GENERAL RISES ABOVE FAILURES

A general is not without his failures. 

Proverbs 24:16 ESV

for the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.

WHAT MAKES A GENERAL ?

▪️Becoming a general is a combination of your success, victories and failures.

What makes a General : 

 FAILURES + VICTORIES = GROWTH 

▪️If you can't show me your pit falls as a general then I wonder if you were really one.

▪️What makes you a general is your ability to pull out of every pit fall regardless of how many times you fell.

Generals have staying power : RESILIENCE 

▪️Generals are, “ never say die people"

They fall and get back up again. They never give up 

▪️You are not a general because you don't have short comings, what makes you a general is despite your short comings you still come out on top.

▪️In the kingdom we don't celebrate failures but failures are part of the raw materials that God uses to build strong generals. 

 It is not about failure , But rising above the circumstances of life.

2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

God uses weakness , to show is great Strength 

▪️A general is a man that has gone through the process and understands what it takes.

James 1:12 KJV

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

SUFFERING ~ PERSEVERANCE = CHARACTER 

1 Corinthians 9:24-25 KJV

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 

(25] And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 

RUN TO WIN THE PRIZE 

▪️Stop considering the failures of yesterday, look beyond where you are, rise up and move to your next level. 

▪️For every kingdom general out there it is not over until you win.

▪️Winners never quit and quitters never win.  Hold on by faith and keep moving.

Galatians 6:9 KJV

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

God uses pitfalls to build strength 

Isaiah 43:2 KJV

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. 

 MEANING : 

When we go through rivers of difficulty, we will either drown or grow stronger as we learn to keep our heads above the water. If you try to make it with your own strength, you will likely drown. If you invite the Lord to go with you, he will be in the river with you and teach you how to navigate the treacherous waters

Through fire And water, God will lead you out!

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

▪️From these two scriptures you will discover that ignorance destroys more people than the devil itself.  

▪️The scripture didn't say my people are destroyed because of satanic attack, it only says that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. 

▪️What makes satan powerful is your ignorance. In other words satan is as powerful as your ignorance.

▪️The more you grow in the knowledge of the word of God, then you will see how insignificant the devil is in messing up with your life or destiny.

▪️Satan is as powerful as you allow him through your ignorance.  

▪️Every true child of God must press for the knowledge of God's word.  It is written

John 8:32 (KJV)  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

▪️It is the knowledge of God's makes you free from every form of captivity.

▪️Knowledge is the medicine that cures the infirmity of ignorance.

(7)  STAY IN THE PLACE OF PRAYER …

🔹The most powerful tools of the believer is Prayers 

Prayer is one of the greatest Weapon of the believer

(1) And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.

 [8] I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?"

Pray without ceasing.

🔷 Stay in the place of Prayers for divine Direction and Divine Instructions

🛑 Exodus 33:14-15 (UKJV)  And he said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. 

And he said unto him, If your presence go not with me, carry us not up behind. 

▪️There is nothing that is as assuring like the presence of God. 

▪️All you ever need to succeed in life is wrapped in the presence of God. 

▪️There is rest, peace, joy, prosperity and protection in the presence of God. 

▪️A man that carries God's presence is secured from evil. 

Obstacles and hindrances give way at the presence of God. 

Psalms 114:3-7 (UKJV)  The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. 

The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. 

What ailed you, O you sea, that you fled? you Jordan, that you were driven back? 

All of you mountains, that all of you skipped like rams; and all of you little hills, like lambs? 

Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; 

There is no obstacles anywhere that can stand the presence of God. 

As believers we must ensure that we become authentic carriers of his presence. 

The storms of life submits to the presence of God. 

Even in this busy world you must ensure that you seek out time to be a man or woman of his presence. 

Spend quality time with God on a daily basis to ensure that you carry the fragrance of his presence wherever you go. 

The presence of God is toxic to demonic spirits. It destroys demonic atmosphere and establishes the atmosphere of the kingdom of God wherever you go. 

The presence of God is the asset of a believer. A life without the presence of God is a disaster waiting to happen. 

Apostolic decree:

May you become an authentic carrier of the presence of God in Jesus name.

Proverbs 24:6 (UKJV)  For by wise counsel you shall make your war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety. 

You may be as anointed as Moses but you still need the counsel of Jethro to survive.

No matter how highly placed you are you must be humble enough to receive counsel from whosoever God has sent to you.

Don't be too spiritual or anointed to ignore the counsel of those you feel that are lesser to you in position or spiritually.

God can use anybody to be of help you even if they are not up to your standard.

Jethro did not speak to God face to face, he didn't have the spiritual experience Moses had. Yet he was the one God used to rescue the ministry of Moses.

We must be careful of those we dispise.

They may not look like it but they may be the people that God will use to help us. 

Nobody has the gift of all knowledge, we only know in part.

The wisdom that you are looking for may be placed in a person that is not up to your standard. 

If you must survive the times that we are in you must be opened to counsel.

The scripture says in the multitude of counsel there is safety.

Men must learn to listen to their wives. Even learn to listen to the wisdom that comes from your children.

If you can humble yourself enough to receive counsel, then your safety will be guaranteed.

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." [6] So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"

🛑1 Timothy 6:10-11 KJV

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. [11] But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

▪️Money simply means exchange of value.

The question is how valuable are you?

What value can you give in exchange for money?

What value have you created that will attract people to pay you for?

People are willing to pay for the problem you solve not the problem you create.

If God has raised you to meet the spiritual needs of men, the people you ministered to will also be willing to respond to you with material things or money in exchange for the value you have added to their lives. 

If you are called into the ministry the first thing you must pay the price to posses is spiritual capacity.

Develop yourself spiritually, study the word of God, pray, fast and learn how to hear the voice of God.

Your meat as a minister is in your calling.

If you want to eat the meat of ministry you must learn to build spiritual capacity to solve difficult problem.

The true labour of a minister is to labour on how to walk with God.

1 Corinthians 3:9 (KJV)  For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

A true minister must build capacity in his walk with God.

A minister is also to labour in word and doctrine.

1 Timothy 5:17 (KJV)  Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

When you build capacity in the word of God you will also be rewarded adequately.

Every labourer is worthy of his wages. 

There is no food for lazy man. 

If you labour to be valuable in your field of calling money will surely come to you in abundance.

Receive grace to build up your capacity to attract wealth in Jesus name.
